Looking for a group to join on: December 28, 2020, 18:53
This is my first post here, so excuse my noobnes. I hope this fits in the watering hole topic.
In the last few years I have grown very interested in rocket design, mostly towards the motor design. Looking around I figured that I do not have enough experience with rocketry to actually join the field commercially and was wondering if there are academic/amateur/research groups here I can join who are willing to take on a "green" physicist (PhD in atomic physics, background in cryogenics, optics, table top and room size devices, Relatively sane 🙂 ). I have read some of the core literature and gathered some theoretical knowledge, but no actual hand on experience. I have dealt with cryogenics in the past.
On request, I can provide the google scholar and linked in info since I am not sure if the rules here allow that.
